Day 1 Beijing Arrival
Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

- Beijing, China's capital and one of the great travel destinations of the World, offers sights and cultural relics found no where else on Earth. The city has a character all its own; there are quadrangles, small alleys, tricycle, boiled mutton, roasted duck, arts and crafts, Peking Opera, The Great Wall, the 2008 Olympics venue and a vibrancy that is the distinctive flavor of Beijing.


Day 2 Beijing (B, L)
Depart from your hotel in the morning to visit Tian'anmen Square, the World's largest urban square, and Forbidden City, the largest and most complete ancient imperial palace in the world. Then visit the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace in the afternoon.

- As the biggest city center square in the world, Tian'anmen Square covering 44 hectares in the heart of Beijing. It is the place where history-changing events and ceremonies occurred.
- A few steps away, come to visit the Forbidden City, which was the Imperial Palace for 24 emperors during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and, it is one of the largest, and certainly the most completely restored, ancient architectural complex in the world. Walk in the footsteps of Emperors; come to the museum and see with your eyes, and feel with your hearts; you'll begin understand what life in this richest of feudal realms was like for the Imperial Rulers, their concubines and their slaves.

- After enjoying a delicious lunch, continue on to the Temple of Heaven. Departing from the Imperial vermilion and gold hues of the Forbidden City, The Temple of Heaven is decorated in blue, the color of the Heavens. The perfect harmony between the architectural environment and nature can be felt here; you might easily imagine the vivid spectacle of a great sacrifice to the Heavens for a good harvest. The magnificent Hall of Prayer of Good Harvest is one of the most important and impressive building in China.

- Originally known as the "Garden of Clear Ripples", the Summer Palace is a magnificent imperial garden located 15 km north of Beijing City . This is the largest ancient preserved garden in China and a former summer retreat for Emperors and the chosen few! The site includes more than 100 ancient style pavilions, mansions, towers, halls, temples, bridges and an enormous clear water lake. What is most enjoyable about the Summer Palace, it is simply a gorgeous place to relax, escape the smoke and crowds of the city and spend an afternoon walking. It is said one could just as easily spend one week out here as one afternoon. Here is a rare chance in Beijing, to lose the crowds and 'clear away the cobwebs'.


Day 3 Beijing -> Zhengzhou (B, L)
The star attraction of China is its Great Wall, a massive defensive structure built to keep intruders from entering the mainland. Today you will have the opportunity to traverse the ancient steps of Mutianyu Section of the Great Wall. Then drive back to the city for Olympic Venue.
Take late afternoon Express Train D317 (17:30-22:22) to Zhengzhou. Upon arrival, be met and transfer to check in local hotel.

- Great Wall is an internationally admired structure, symbolic of the cruelty of the ancient rulers, and the stoicism and determination of the Chinese people. The construction of the Great Wall began in the 5th century BC. The wall has a total length of 6,700 km, for much of its length following extremely rugged and mountainous terrain, clinging to incredibly precipitous mountainsides; it is truly an engineering masterpiece by any standard, ancient or modern. It has been claimed that the Great Wall is the only man-made structure which is visible from the moon.


Day 4 Zhengzhou -> Luoyang (B, L)
Drive to visit Yellow River scenic park in the morning and Shaolin Temple in the afternoon. Take a few hours driving to Dengfeng, you will find the famous Shaolin Temple and the Pagoda Forest just locate at the foot of Mt.Songshan. Vegetarian food will be served as lunch today. Our visits of the temple will end up with a Kung Fu performance from martial arts master. That is what you used to watch on TV show.
Transfer directly to Luoyang and check in local hotel.

- Shaolin Temple: Situated in the Song Mountain, about 12 kilometers from the west of Dengfeng City, it is the most reputable and longest standing temple in China. The temple is the ancestor court of Zen and the birthplace of the Shaolin Kung Fu that has become the treasures of Chinese martial arts after perfecting from generation to generation. Now the Shaolin Temple has become the only tourist destination for Zen and Martial Arts training. The main scenic spots in the temple are the Hall of Heavenly Kings, the Grand Hall, the Sutra Depository, Hall of Thousands of Buddha and the Pagoda Forest.


Day 5 Luoyang -> Xian (B, L)
After a good rest overnight, guide will take you to visit Luoyang Musuem and White Horse Temple in the morning. And arrange Longmen Grottoes before taking Fast Train G2021 (17:25 -19:00) or G2025 (18:23 - 20:15) to Xian. Upon arrival, be met and transfered to local hotel.

- White Horse Temple: Known as the first temple of Chinese Buddhism, its history can be dated back to 1900 years ago. In 64 AD, the Emperor Mingdi of the Eastern Han Dynasty dispatched envoys to the Western Regions to make a courtesy call for Buddhism. Three years later, the envoys and two great Indian monks returned to Luoyang with scriptures and Buddha statues which were carried back by white horses. In the next year, the emperor ordered to build a temple in Luoyang and named White Horse Temple to enshrine the services of the white horses.
- Longmen Grottoes: Densely scattered along the cliffs on both banks of the Yi River, the Longmen Caves are one of the four great grottoes in China. The construction of the caves starts in 493 AD of the Northern Wei Dynasty when Emperor Xiaowendi moved the capital to Luoyang. The caves reached a peak in the Tang Dynasty and went into gradual decadency after An Lushan-Shi Siming Rebellion. Now the Longmen Caves contain 2,345 grottoes with 2,680 statues, over 70 stupas and 2680 inscribed stone tablets. The Buddha statues in the styles of the Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties are carved skillfully.


Day 6 Xian (B, L)
Today's first destination is Qin Terra-cotta Warriors, which was regarded as the 8th wonder of the world and the most significant excavations of the 20th century. Then catch to Huaqing Hot Spring and Banpo Neolithic Village.

- Terracotta Warriors: As the eighth wonder of the ancient world, it has the history of more than 2200 years. Oriental mummies await you to discover its mystery.
- Huaqing Hot Springs: The palace covers an area of 85,560 square meters. Entering the West Gate of Huaqing Hot Springs, you will see the Nine-Dragon Pool, the Lotus Flower Pool and the Frost Drifting Hall
- Banpo Neolithic Village: The 6,000-year-old Banpo site was a typical matriarchal clan community in the Yellow River Valley.


Day 7 Xian Departure (B, L)
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Bell Tower in the morning, and take afternoon train or flight out of Xian.

- Big Wild Goose Pagoda: Outstanding design in Chinese pavilion architecture history and containing many Buddhist relics that brought by Master Xuan Zang 1000 years ago.
- Bell Tower: Xi'an Bell Tower is the largest and best-preserved of its kind in China. It tells people time in the ancient.
