Beijing, or Peking,is the capital of China and one of the most populous cities in the world.


Xi'an is the capital of Shaanxi province. One of the oldest cities in China, the city was known as Chang'an before the Ming dynasty. Xi'an is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, having held the position under several of the most important dynasties in Chinese history. Xi'an is the starting point of the Silk Road and home to the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang.


Shanghai is a popular tourist destination renowned for its historical landmarks such as The Bund, City God Temple and Yu Garden as well as the extensive Lujiazui skyline and major museums including the Shanghai Museum and the China Art Museum. It has been described as the "showpiece" of the booming economy of mainland China.

Day 01 Arrive Beijing
Arrival Beijing, meet our guide and transfer to your Beijing hotel. The rest of day is at leisure.

 

Day 02 Beijing tour
 Pick up from your hotel in the morning. Visit the world largest square-Tiananmen Square. Then move on to the largest Imperial Palace in the world-Forbidden City where 24 emperors of Ming & Qing dynasty lived and controlled China from there for several hundred years.
After lunch, visit the Temple of Heaven which was built in 1420, once was the venue for the Ming and Qing emperors to offer sacrifices to Heaven and pray for good harvest for the coming new year. Next stop is the Summer Palace. Known as the largest and best-preserved imperial gardens of the world, the Summer Palace inscribed on the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 1998. and the number one silk complex.

Day 03 Beijing tour
Take a 2 hrs drive to Badaling Great Wall, the symbol of ancient Chinese civilization and the landmark of China. On the way, visit the jade factory where you can buy some souvenirs.Hiking the Great Wall for 1.5hr.
After Chinese style lunch, visit the Changling Mausoleum, the largest of the 13 Ming Tombs. The 13 Ming Tombs are the cemeteries of the 13 Ming emperors after the Ming Dynasty moved the capital to Beijing. Pay an exterior tour to Beijing's iconic constructions-the "Bird Nest" and the "Water Cube".

Day 04 Beijing to Xian by train Z19 20:47pm-07:58am
Morning tour features the Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Panda. Then head for Shishahai Lake area. You can visit the old Beijing lanes by rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts 2 hours, visitors will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, and the Bell Tower built several hundred years ago.
Lunch will be arranged at a typical Beijing resident's house. Tour of the Lama Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple.
Transfer to Beijing railway station for Xian.

Day 05 Xian tour
Arrive in Xian in the morning. Meet our local guide and visit the Banpo Museum first. Banpo Neolithic Village Museum is named from the remains of Banpo village which is located east of Xian. The remains were discovered in 1953. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC. It is recorded that about 6000 years ago, a village was set up by a late Neolithic people. There were about 500 villagers who lived in the village. Visitors can still see the remains of over 40 houses, over 200 cellars, 6 kilns.
Pay a 30 minutes short visit to the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory.
After China style lunch, visit Terracotta soldiers Museum. Terracotta soldiers group tour It is not only reputed as the world's largest Military Museum but also the Eighth Wonder of the world.
The Qin Shi Huang Tomb is the Mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of the Qin Dynasty (221BC-207BC) and also of China. Covering 2.13 square kilometers, the four-layered mausoleum, like a well-structured city, includes an underground palace, which is the center of the mausoleum, an inner city, outer city and grounds.

Day 06 Xian Rail Tour to Shanghai by train T166 20:58pm-11:25am

Pick up from your hotel lobby in the morning. Our tour start with Shaanxi History Museum which built after the model of Tang Dynasty and featured with a total of 3,000 relics, ranging from 115,000-year-old prehistory articrafts to items from the Opium Wars of the 1840's.
Have Chinese style lunch at local restaurante.
After lunch, visit Xian Ancient City Wall. It has been preserved intact, which is rarely seen in the world. The construction of the Xian City was formally started in the seventh year of Emperor Hongwu's reign (1374) and completed in the eleventh year of Hongwu's reign (1378). The rectangular city wall is 13.7 kilometers in circumference and has 5,984 crenels and 98 places for the garriosn troops to stay in.
Then pay a visit to the Muslim Street. Enjoy an exterior tour to Bell Tower or Drum Tower.
Transfer to railway station to connect train T166 for Shanghai.

Day 07 Train Travel to Shanghai

Arrive in Shanghai at 11:25am. Meet our local guide and transfer to our Shanghai hotel. Explore the city on your own.


 
Day08 Shanghai Tour

Our Shanghai tour started with a visit to the Ming era Yu Garden which is the most famous classical garden of Shanghai. Followed a visit to the more impressive Bund. Known as the symbol of Shanghai, the Bund featured with 52 high-rises of all styles stand in the west, showing the art of world architecture. Then pay a visit to the "Xintiandi" and the Former French Concession Area.

After lunch, visit the Jade Buddha Temple which was built in 1882, is a well preserved Buddhist temple. Then visit the Shanghai Museum.

Shanghai tour finished with a visit to the People's Square.

Day09 Shanghai Departure

Free at leisure till pick up from your hotel and transfer to the airport for departure. End of memorable Beijing Xian Shanghai train tour.
