Day 1: Arrive in Beijing
The pre-arranged guide would be awaiting with a welcoming sign featuring our logo at the airport before the plane touches down. There would be no itinerary arranged for the rest of the day, considering your need to soothe the fatigue from the long-haul flight.

Free-time Ideas: The hotel you're staying is situated on the Xidajie (West Boulevard), the same boulevard connecting to the Tiananmen Square, only a few minutes' walk from the Chongwenmen Subway Station on Line 5 & 2, and within reasonable distance of Dongdan, Beijing Railway Station, Temple of Heaven and the likes, feel free to explore if interested.

 

Day 2:Beijing
The first day of the trip would start with a visit to the very heart of the country's capital, Tiananmen Square, a magnificent square extending in front of the Forbidden City, which has been the power center for nearly six centuries and has witnessed 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties carried out their administration, followed by a pleasant lunch and a delightful afternoon in Summer Palace, the spectacular private garden for royal members only back in the imperial times.

Day 3:Beijing
This day's excursion begins with the Temple of Heaven, the sacred venue where the Ming/Qing Emperors performed major sacrificial and praying ceremonies for good fortune, prosperity and blessings. After that, embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour ride to the leg of Great Wall situated in Mutianyu, a not-so-overcrowded section of the Great Wall which extends over 2km but features cable car up and down the mountainous part. On the way back to the hotel, there will be a stop at the Bird's Nest stadium and Water Cube, and you'll have some time to take pictures.

Day 4:Beijing - Xian
After breakfast, featured on schedule is a Hutong Tour on rickshaw around the most original and characteristic neighborhood and a visit to a local family.  Afterwards, you would be taken to the railway station for the high speed rail train to Xian, which takes approximately 5 hours, and along the way you would have the chance to admire a different scenery of the countryside. Upon arriving at the Xian North Station, the professional tour guide would pick you up and escort you to the hotel.

Day 5:Xian
The highlight of the day is without doubt the most renowned feature of Xian and one of the most recognizable cultural symbols of China, which has been exhibited in dozens of different countries around the world ¨C the Terracotta Army, or better known as Bing Ma Yong in Chinese. As you may have heard, Terracotta Army is an army consists of thousands of soldiers, horses, chariots and loads of other items made of terracotta, under the demand of Qin Shi Huang, the first-ever emperor of China around the early 3rd century. More history, sagas and anecdotes behind this mysterious masterpiece would be presented by our guide on the tour. In the afternoon, the tour would be taken back to the downtown Xian, around the Xian City Wall, the 25.7km fortifications enclosing the city used to be the capital of China for 13 dynasties. The wall can be dated back to as early as the late 2nd century, but the existing wall was established in Ming Dynasty. Apart from it, also on the itinerary are the Great Mosque, the oldest Islamic mosque in the country, erected in 742AD, and the Muslim quarter built around it, which is rife with excellent historical buildings, favorable eateries, souvenir shops and the likes.

Day 6: Xian - Shanghai
This day's tour is still surrounded on the historical side of Xian, featuring the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a 43.4m (142ft) tall, 13-storey pagoda established during the Tang Dynasty, and the Xian Museum, showcasing nearly 15,000 pieces of items, right at the foot of it. After a special A La Carte lunch in a stylish local restaurant, you would be given a ride to the airport for your flight to the next destination, Shanghai, and picked up from the airport straight to the hotel.

Day 7:Shanghai
With an experienced guide meeting you at the hotel, this day's destinations include Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, a museum stresses on urban planning, architecture, modern history of the metropolis, with seasonal art exhibitions and others. After that, feel free to have a captivating walk around the Bund and Nanjing Road, the upscale and busiest shopping hub of Shanghai, before proceeding to the Yuyuan Garden, a former privately-owned garden of traditional southern China architectural style, comprises of pavilions, ponds, bridges, rockeries trees and the likes. Afterwards, please take some time to roam about the nearby Yuyuan Market and Xintiandi (New Spot), the most traditional street market with hundreds of stalls peddling all kinds of trinkets and the up-and-coming high-end neighborhood featuring series of bars, caf¨¦s, restaurants, spa centers, clubs, galleries, boutiques and so forth. The day would be summed up by a 45-minute cruise ride down the Huangpu River, passing by the wonderful night view of legions of skyscrapers along the river banks.

Special Dining: The set-menu lunch would be arranged at Xiao Nan Guo, a restaurant quickly gained fame among the locals for its indigenous Shanghai dishes since its establishment in 1987 and has now opened dozens of branches in multiple locations.

Day 8:Shanghai - Hanoi
Transfer you to the airport to take the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to your hotel for check-in.

 


Day 9:Hanoi
Today explore the charming city of Hanoi from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed on Monday & Friday), Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and the Quan Thanh Temple. Afternoon is a visit to the interesting Museum of Ethnology containing many life-size structures dedicated to Vietnam's 54 ethnic minority peoples, followed by a rickshaw ride along narrow streets of the Old Quarter. Last stop is the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show.

Day 10:Hanoi - Halong Bay
Transfer to set out for a rich Halong Bay cruise. After a 3-hr scenic drive to the pier, check into your private cabin and start the cruise. Besides admiring the stunning scenery and taking a short excursion to Surprise Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay, you will also enjoy optional activities such as kayaking, swimming, cooking class, etc. Spend a romantic night on board at Halong Bay.

Day 11:Halong Bay - Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City
Today get up earlier to learn ancient art of Tai Chi on the sundeck. Later enjoy a big brunch before check out at late morning. Then drive back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, our guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel.

Day 12:Ho Chi Minh City
Today you will start a tour of Ho Chi Minh City form the Thien Hau Temple (a Chinese temple) and the lively Binh Tay Market. After lunch, you will visit the War Remnants Museum and the former Presidential Palace. From there, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House and City Hall are all within walking distance and perfect for a nice stroll.

Day 13:Ho Chi Minh City
This morning set out for the incredible Cu Chi Tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the Vietnam War, and the ornate temple of Cao Dai where you can attend the fantastic mid-day service together with followers. The rest of the day is yours to relax.

Day 14:Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
Morning depart for My Tho to embark on a boat navigating around the small canals in the Mekong Delta region. Get close to daily activities of local people at My Tho Fruit Market. Taste many seasonal fruits and enjoy traditional music played by islanders on the Unicorn Island. After lunch stop by some coconut candy workshops to see how coconut candy is produced. Then return to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15:Ho Chi Minh City - Phnom Penh
After breakfast at hotel, you will have some free time before being transferred to the airport for the flight to Phnom Penh. Be met and transferred to the hotel. Visit to Wat Phnom Daun Penh, Independence Monument, Silver Pagoda (Royal Palace), and National Museum and Toul Sleng genocidal museum.

Day 16:Phnom Penh - Siem Reap
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to airport for early flight to Siem Reap. Arrival to Siem Reap, welcoming by your tour guide and he/she will take you to hotel for check in. After lunch, Visit to Tonle Sap great Lake, taking a boat cruise visit the floating village for 1hour. Drive back to Siem Reap Town : Visit to Angkor National Museum and then to ¡°Les Artisans D'Angkor Chantiers Ecoles¡± and shopping at Old market.

Day 17:Siem Reap
Morning: visit to the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphuon, Elephant Terrace, Terrace of Leper King and return to restaurant for your Lunch. Afternoon tour, visit to Ta Prohm temple, Angkor Wat (one of the Seven Wonders of the World) and view the Sunset from Phnom Bakheng Hill or at Pre Rup temple. Dinner at local restaurant with Cambodian traditional dance show and Overnight stay in Siem Reap.

Day 18:Siem Reap - Luang Prabang
Breakfast at hotel and the rest of the day free time at leisure till transfer to airport for flight to Luang Prabang.Upon your arrival in Luang Prabang, our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel. After a short rest, we'll climb up to the top of Mount Phousi for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred gilded stupa and then explore the night market.

Note: This tour includes a 1 day Angkor entrance ticket (temples pass) only.

Day 19:Luang Prabang
After breakfast, enjoy a cultural excursion of the city's oldest temple, Wat Sene, and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, the largest and most splendid one. Then board a cruiser upstream in the Mekong River, get a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside and explore the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, which is crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Later take a stopover at the small village of Ban Xang Hai, where the local rice wine is distilled. On our way back to Luang Prabang, take a short drive to Ban Phanom, a small village well known for its hand weaving. In the afternoon, it's an easy city tour to the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham and Wat Mai. Last, tour the Royal Palace Museum.

Day 20:Luang Prabang
If you like, observe the alms-giving procession in the early morning at 5:40am, from which you'll have an understanding of local people's piety towards their religion. Today you start from a visit to the morning Phousi Market, the best place to see where Laos' locals shop. After that, go back to hotel for breakfast and the rest of the morning is yours to refresh from early get-up or explore the city on your own. Our guided tour for the afternoon starts with some local villages of Lao minority groups at Ban Ouay. Then transfer to the beautiful Khouang Si Waterfalls where you can splash around in the turquoise pools or walk along the forest trails. Later, continue to Ban Xang Khong, a village well known for silk hand-weaving and traditional Saa paper-making. Return to the city by late evening to catch the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath.

Day 21:Depart from Luang Prabang
Enjoy your leisure time before to be escorted to the airport for your departure flight.
