Day 1:Beijing
The tour guide would be awaiting with a welcoming sign featuring our logo at the airport before the plane touches down. There would be no itinerary arranged for the rest of the day, considering your need to soothe the fatigue from the long-haul flight.

 

Day 2:Beijing
The first day of the trip would start with a visit to the very heart of the country's capital, Tiananmen Square, a magnificent square extending in front of the Forbidden City, which has been the power center for nearly six centuries and has witnessed 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties carried out their administration, followed by a pleasant A La Carte lunch and a delightful afternoon in Summer Palace, the spectacular private garden for royal members only back in the imperial times.

Day 3BeijingThis day's excursion begins with the Temple of Heaven, the sacred venue where the Ming/Qing Emperors performed major sacrificial and praying ceremonies for good fortune, prosperity and blessings. After that, embark on a 1.5 to 2-hour ride to the leg of Great Wall situated in Mutianyu, a not-so-overcrowded section of the Great Wall which extends over 2km but features cable car up and down the mountainous part. When the day draws to the end, a little detour would be taken on the way back, to the Bird's Nest stadium and Water Cube, the two ahead-of-the-time structures famed for not only holding most games during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, but also for their world-recognized, innovating appearances.

Day 4:Beijing - Shaolin Temple
After breakfast, a Hutong Tour on rickshaw around the most original and characteristic neighborhood, after which you would be given a ride to the airport for your flight to the next destination, Zhengzhou. Upon arrival, your local guide will greet you at airport and escort you to the hotel right next to the Shaolin Temple.

Day 5:Luoyang - Xian
Head for the world-renowned Shaolin Temple, a Buddhist monastery dates back to 5th century and long famous for Shaolin Kung Fu and Chinese martial arts. The Pagoda Forest refers to the 228 pagodas erected in different eras since the 8th century to commemorate the respected monks from Shaolin Temple. Enjoy the exciting Kungfu Performance. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Luoyang railway station for your high-speed express train to Xian.

Day 6:Xian
The highlight of the day is without doubt the most renowned feature of Xian and one of the most recognizable cultural symbols of China, which has been exhibited in dozens of different countries around the world ¨C the Terracotta Army, or better known as Bing Ma Yong in Chinese. As you may have heard, Terracotta Army is an army consists of thousands of soldiers, horses, chariots and loads of other items made of terracotta, under the demand of Qin Shi Huang, the first-ever emperor of China around the early 3rd century. More history, sagas and anecdotes behind this mysterious masterpiece would be presented by our guide on the tour. In the afternoon, the tour would be taken back to the downtown Xian, around the Xian City Wall, the 25.7km fortifications enclosing the city used to be the capital of China for 13 dynasties. The wall can be dated back to as early as the late 2nd century, but the existing wall was established in Ming Dynasty. Apart from it, also on the itinerary are the Great Mosque, the oldest Islamic mosque in the country, erected in 742AD, and the Muslim quarter built around it, which is rife with excellent historical buildings, favorable eateries, souvenir shops and the likes.

Day 7:Xian
This day's tour is still surrounded on the historical side of Xian, featuring the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, a 43.4m (142ft) tall, 13-storey pagoda established during the Tang Dynasty, and the Xian Museum, showcasing nearly 15,000 pieces of items, right at the foot of it. After a special a la carte lunch in a stylish local restaurant, you would be able to explore this city on your own.

Day 8:Xian - Guilin
Today you would be given a ride to the airport for your flight to the next destination, Guilin, and picked up from the airport to the hotel. Then pay a visit to the Reed Flute Cave, a limestone cave filled with millions of years old stalactites, stalagmites and rock formations in various shapes resembling countless items, followed by the Elephant Trunk Hill, the landmark of Guilin, which refers to a mountain appears very much alike an elephant sticking its trunk into the river for water.

Day 9:Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
Board on a well-equipped cruise ship at Zhujiang Pier to sail down the gorgeous Li River. Just sit back, relax and take in the stunning sceneries along the river banks for four hours before arriving at Yangshuo. The most appropriate way to mill about a historical, captivating small town is evidently a ride in the electric sightseeing vehicle. In the middle of the biking tour, you will visit a local family to experience the local life style. You'll be transferred back to Guilin and stay there.

Day 10:Guilin - Shanghai
Your guide will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to the next destination, Shanghai. The rest of the day is on your own to explore this city.

Day 11:Shanghai
With an experienced guide meeting you at the hotel, this day's destinations include Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall, a museum stresses on urban planning, architecture, modern history of the metropolis, with seasonal art exhibitions and others. After that, feel free to have a captivating walk around the Bund and Nanjing Road, the upscale and busiest shopping hub of Shanghai, before proceeding to the Yuyuan Garden, a former privately-owned garden of traditional southern China architectural style, comprises of pavilions, ponds, bridges, rockeries trees and the likes. Afterwards, please take some time to roam about the nearby Yuyuan Market and Xintiandi (New Spot), the most traditional street market with hundreds of stalls peddling all kinds of trinkets and the up-and-coming high-end neighborhood featuring series of bars, caf¨¦s, restaurants, spa centers, clubs, galleries, boutiques and so forth. The day would be summed up by a 45-minute cruise ride down the Huangpu River, passing by the wonderful night view of legions of skyscrapers along the river banks.
