Day 1 Kunming
On arrival at Kunming, meet your guide and transfer to Hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day free to explore the city at your own pace.


Day 2 Kunming - Mangshi (by air) - Ruili
In the morning, visit the Dragon Gate, the best and biggest Taoist grotto in Yunnan, which is also characterized by the natural beauty of West Hill and Dianchi Lake. Then continue to admire the historical Huating Temple, which also stands out by its special architectural style. In the afternoon, transfer to take a flight to Mangshi. On arrival, meet your guide and take a 2.5 hours' car ride to Ruili, the China and Myanmar border city. The remainder of the day is at leisure, you could visit the local night market.


Day 3 Ruili - Lianghe - Tengchong
Today setting out to Golden Duck Pagoda, an attractive stupa set in a temple courtyard, which is a symbol of good luck and happiness. Then head to Hansa Temple, a great place to experience mysterious Buddhism culture, which features in its grand buildings and splendid decorations. Afterwards, take an overland drive about 6 hours via Lianghe to Tengchong. En route, you will take stop to visit in Lianghe Tusi Office (Former Office of Local Governor) dating back to Ming and Qing Dynasty. On the way, you will also visit villages of Jingpo and Dai minorities with deep ethnic accumulation and unique folk custom.


Day 4 Tengchong
In the morning, visit Volcano Park at Mazhan town. Located in one of the main earthquake territories in China, the park characterizes itself by 20 big and small volcanoes. Afterwards, head to Heshun Overseas Chinese Village. Wandering through alleys there, you can admire the folk buildings and experience local custom. Then relax yourself in Hot Springs on the outskirts of Tengchong. Rich in sulphur and other mineral elements, they are believed by the locals to be curable of certain diseases. Finally is your chance to stroll in the former British Consulate General Office back in 1920s and feel the strong sense of local history and culture.


Day 5 Tengchong - Dali
In the morning, take a scenic overland drive to Dali (about 6 hours). Dali City is located on a fertile plateau nestled between the Cangshan Mountains to the west, and Erhai Lake to the east, which was traditionally settled by the Bai ethnic group. On arrival, take on a walking tour of the Dali Old Town to capture its charm with narrow cobbled streets and traditional stone architecture. The rest of the day is free for exploring and relaxing.


Day 6 Dali - Lijiang
In the morning, take a small boat and enjoy a cruise on the Erhai Lake, which is reputed as the pearl on plateau for its charming scenery. Then explore the famous Three Pagodas, the precious treasure and main landmark in Dali. In the afternoon, you will take a car ride to the city of Lijiang. In the ancient time, Lijiang was flourished as a trading post of the Silk Road of tea, known as the "Tea-Horse Ancient Road". In 1997, the UNESCO put Lijiang on a list of the world cultural heritage. During the way, visit the Xizhou Ethnic Minority Village, where you could enjoy the collection of traditional Bai-style architecture and art. Upon arrival at Lijiang, transfer to the hotel.


Day 7 Lijiang
In the morning, visit the remarkable Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. You travel by cable car to the Yak Meadow, which commands a magnificent view of the glacier. Continue to visit the Baisha Fresco situated in the northern part of Lijiang. You will find an assortment of over 600-year old preserved murals. Afterwards, you will tour the Old Town of Lijiang (UNESCO), which is the best-preserved ancient town in China and well known for its distinctive Naxi culture and ancient buildings.


Day 8 Lijiang - Kunming 
In the morning, transfer for a flight to Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province. On arrival, meet your guide and enjoy an excursion to the Stone Forest (UNESCO), a typical Karst landscape formed some 270 million years ago. This geological wonder consists of limestone cliffs and peaks that have weathered into various shapes since their formation beneath the sea.


Day 9 Kunming
Transfer to the airport for departure. Service ends.
