Giant Stone Buddha
Giant Stone Buddha of Leshan, also named Linyun Buddha,is located at the junction of Minjiang River and Dalu River south to the city of Leshan. It is 71 meters high from feet to head, so far the biggest stone Buddha in the world. It was first built in Tang Dynasty in 713AD and finished in 803AD. It was listed with Mount Emei as a World Cultural Heritage in 1996. With easy access via Leshan or Chengdu, this site has been a very popular destination in China.

Emei Shrine
Mount Emei is one of the four greatest(and the highest, 3099 meters) Buddhist holy mountains in China. It is the shrine of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva and home to some 3000 kinds of species. A substantial amount of temples and pavilions were built on Mount Emei and most of them located at the top area. Wooden bridges and stone steps connects pavilions and temples, flexible architecture adapts to the landscape. Great spectacles at the Golden Top of Mount Emei include the sunrise and Clouds Sea as well as a massive golden statue of Samantabhadra.

Hongchunping
Hongchunping is another major temple of Mount Emei at the elevation of 1120 meters. Temple was first built in Song Dynastery in 11 century and worshipped and protected well through the history. Some very old trees can be found at Hongchunping, some of them are over hundred years. It is a typical Buddhist temple in China.

Samantabhadra Bodhisattva
The golden statue of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva at the Golden Top of Mount Emei is 48 meters high, weighing over 600 tons. Samantabhadra Bodhisattva is one of the Buddha from the Shakyamuni trinity in Buddhism, with Shakyamuni Buddha and fellow bodhisattva Manjusri. Samantabhadra, usually riding an elephant in China, is only rarely depicted alone and is usually found in a trinity on the right side of Shakyamuni. In Chinese, he is known as Puxian. He is sometimes shown riding an elephant with six pairs of tusks while carrying a lotus leaf, bearing similar dress and features to some feminine depictions of Kuan Yin. It is in this guise that Samantabhadra is revered as the patron bodhisattva of the monasteries associated with Mount Emei. While among Tibetan esoteric traditions, Samantabhadra is regarded as the 'Primordial' Buddha, he is often represented 'naked' with a dark blue body, in union with his consort Samantabhadri.

Elephant Bathing Pool
Elephant Bathing Pool is at the highway to the top of Mount Emei. Its name is from the legend that Samantabhadra had his elephant washed here in the pool every time he was on his trip to Top of Mount Emei. At first it was not in the name of Elephant Bathing Pool but Chuxi Pavilion(It was merely a pavilion at first). Chuxi indicates the joyful minds when one knows he is going to get to the top soon. Elephant Bathing Pool now generally indicates the complex at this location including temples and pavilions.

Baoguo Temple
The first temple of Mount Emei at the gate of Emeishan. It is an excellent Chinese Buddhism architecture and home to many collections including a 14 tiers copper tower consisting 4700 buddha statues, inscriptions of the full Huayan sutra, a 10-ton's bell and many pottery works and art-paintings.
