Day01. Arrive in Kunming
Welcome to the homeland of tea, meet your guide at airport, and transfer to hotel for a good rest, welcoming dinner tonight at a local restaurant. A city tour to the Golden Horse & Jade Rooster Archways. Stay overnight in Kunming


Day02. Kunming¡ªStone Forest-Jinghong
Stone Forest is a massive collection of grey lime stone pillars. it is composed of closely knit outcrops of dark gray lime stone karst that have weathered into interesting shapes since their formation beneath a sea some 270 million years ago. Here takes you through hilly countryside dotted with the timber- framed architecture typical of the area. It was enlisted as one of world heritages in 2007 by UNESCO.
Take evening flight to Jinghong, Jinghong is the capital city of Dai Autonomous Prefecture. The sub-tropical plateau and rainforest of Xishuangbana Bai Autonomous Prefecture lies in the deep southern part of Yunnan, close to the borders of Burma and Laos, It's the home of Dai people, Buddhists who are related to Thais. Also known as the homeland of tea of the world. Stay overnight in jinghong


Day03. Jinghong - Menghai
On the way to Menghai, stop over at Jino Village, visit the King of all tea trees of the world at Bada village, lunch today is very special and new to you, we will have picnic buffet in the subtropical jungle, making bamboo tea and taste it, go to visit local tea factories in Menghai, and watch how the local minority people process tea in villages.
About 14 km northwest of Menghai, is the Jingzheng Ooctagonal Pavilion, first built in 1701, the ornate decoration is still impressive. The temple also operates as a monastic school. The paintings on the wall of the temple depict scenes from the Jatatka, the life history of Buddha. Stay overnight in Jinghong


Day04. Jinhong ¨C Nannou Tea Plantations
Nanou is one of six tea Mountains, the origin of tea of the world, today we will visit a tea plantation with history of over 600 years old. At Yunnan Tea Research Institute, we will be given a lecture on Yunnan minority tea culture while enjoy the tea performance of courses of Flaming Tea from Ai'Ni ethnic minority, cool mixed tea of Jinou, Earth-pot tea of La'hu and so on.. stay overnight in Jinhong


Day05. Xishuanbana
Bana Wild Elephant Valley is named after the wild elephants that live in the valley, this nature reserve is one of five enormous forest reserves in southern Yunnan. This one has and area of nearly 1.5 million hectares. After lunch, drive to General Head Temple, which is also known
Zong Fosi is the leading regional temple, described by anthropologist as the ¡°Ivy League¡± of temple schools, just before you get to the park entrance is the Mangti Fosi, a temple claimed to date back 1100 years. Stay overnight In Jinhong


Day06. Xishuanbana
Today visit The Botanical Garden, it is one of major attraction in Xishuangbana, the gardens are gorgeous and get high marks from visitors. The 933hectares of garden are well laid out, over 2000 species of tropical plants have been introduced since 1959.On the way to Botanical Garden. There is a huge produce market on Ganglanba which sells all kinds of regional specialties including lots of weird tropical fruit. Stay overnight in jinhong


Day07. Jinhong - Simao
Drive to Simao, the hometown of Pu-er Tea, sightseeing to ancient Tea-Horse Road, given a lecture by staff from Pu-er Tea Producer in Simao. Stay overnight in Simao


Day08 Simao - Kunming
After breakfast in the hotel, drive back to Kunming, have lunch on the way, in the afternoon, drive to visit Bamboo Temple, the temple dates back to the Tang Dynasty, burned down and rebuilt in the 15th century, these life-size clay figures are stunning, either very realistic and surrealistic- a sculptural tour de force. Stay overnight in Kunming
