D1: Arrive in Chengdu(500m)
Meet flight in Chengdu£¬the capital city of Sichuan province. Chengdu is located near sea level, so we will face no acclimatization problems here. After dinner we will together study maps and check our equipment.

(NanHe Hotel)

D2: Chengdu/Dujiangyan/Wolong/Balang Shan Pass (4520m) / Rilong (3200m)
Today, we will drive 266km. start off from 8:00am. Mostly spent travelling to Rilong, by-passing the Wolong Nature Reserve where the Wolong Panda Reserve is located. The road journey is at times impressive in its own sight featuring a couple of high passes and some impressive scenery, surrounded by steep green hills dotted with picturesque Tibetan villages. We'll have lunch in Wolong. We'll spend the night in a guesthouse in Tibetan town of RiLong. You will also spend some time acclimatizing in RiLong before the trek to base camp tomorrow.

D3: Rilong / Changping Valley (3760m) / Rilong
Featuring the most untouched scenery, ChangPing Valley is long with gently sloping sides. We will go for a hike along the valley for sufficient acclimatization, view of all 4 peaks of Mount SiGuNiang, PoMiu & LuoTuoFeng (Camel peak) and peer into the cultures of local minorities.

D4: Rilong / Base Camp (4384m)
The second day of hiking (17km) will take about 7 hours. We will pass some impressive peaks (many unclimbed and some even unnamed). The farther we hike up the mountain, the wilder landscape becomes. As we arrive at the base camp, the stupendous rock walls of Siguniang will gradually emerge. If weather permits, we can even see the whole view of Siguniang area. We can hike around base camp to acclimatize then descend to base camp for good rest before proceeding to summit DaFeng the following day.

D5: Base Camp / Summit (5036m) / Rilong
It is uphill climb right from the beginning. Go slow and tackle the climb one step at a time. The summit route is mostly made-up of rocky slabs & goes from gentle slope to a steep ascend of about 40-45degree (especially the last 200 meters). Ropes may be required from this point. Physical fitness and mental strength is needed. Get up at 4:00, breakfast at 5:00. You should reach the summit at approximately 10:00. * Descend all the way back down to our base camp once you finish capturing of your monumental moment of the summit. Head back to Rilong town. It will be a long walk.

* If you do not make it to the summit before 11:00, you will still have to descend for safety precaution.

D6: Rilong / Shuangqiao Valley / Rilong
Today we will follow the ancient trekking trail along ShuangQiao Valley which boasts 10 scenic spots spreading along a concrete road that goes through the valley. You will have more spectacular views here than ChangPing Valley.

* We take into consideration the unpredictable variables. If you did not make it to the summit or weather prevented you from summiting on D5, you can come back from the base camp for a second summit attempt on D6.

D7: Rilong / Chengdu
After breakfast, we will drive back to ChengDu. On the way back, you can visit the Tibetan village.
